There is a good playground for young children (up to 7 years old) at the top of the park, up by the Lodge.
On the other side of the park is the remains of a natural playground which was designed for older children (7-11 years):
There used to be a children’s playground down by the railway line, next to the skatepark, but the equipment was removed a few years ago as it was unsafe. VPAG is currently working to try and get an accessible playground constructed in this area.
