Bonfire night is on the 5th November annually.  Every year, the community gathers wood to create a great bonfire and hundreds of people gather around to watch the spectacle.  Our majestic and magnificent fire is lit around 6.30pm every year for people to come to observe, and enjoy a variety of refreshments near at hand …

Explorer Dome’s star shows will be in St Michael & All Angels Church (Vivian St) from 6.30pm and Bristol Astronomical Society will have their telescopes near the Lodge in the park for viewing the night sky (if it’s cloudy, BAS will come on Tuesday night). The Spring Clean in the park is on Saturday 12th April from 10.00-12.00 (meet at the Lodge). Litter-picking equipment will be provided.
